blanClass Anthology#4 on TPAM Fringe 2019

場所の持つ〈記憶〉を演劇にすることは可能か。 会場となるblanClassは、1967年に設立した現代美術の私塾「Bゼミ」を前身に持つ美術の実験場である。 この場所を架空の廃アパートと仮想し、blanClassに潜在する〈記憶〉と透かし合わせ上演を試みる。 恐らくは“ゴースト”が現れるであろうこの作品の位置付けは、“ゴースト”シリーズ第２弾《ゴーストハイツ・シアター》である。

Is it possible to create a theatre piece out of the “memories” a place has? blanClass is an experimental art place formerly known as “B Seminar” – a private school of contemporary art founded in 1967. By imagining this place as a fictitious abandoned flat, I will try to superimpose “memories” hidden in blanClass to perform a piece in this place. The position of this work, by which a “ghost” may be conjured up, is the 2nd of my “Ghost” series called Ghost Heights Theatre.

【解 説】

『建物の演劇化』を試みた。

  建物の物語が記述された冊子、建物内外に吊るされた過去の透過写真、どこかからテキストを語る振動の ような建物の声、旧暗室にはかつて住んでいた猫の追想としての映像…様々な仕掛けが会場内に組み込まれ、訪れた観客は二重化された「建物の歴史」の中に誘われていく。

アトリエの天井で回転する照明下では、高山のパフォーマンスと、観客たちとの様々な"かつて行われていた実験WS"が毎回試みられる。また、その姿は撮影/映写が多重露光的に繰り返され、観客もまた「建物の歴史」の一部に入り込んでいく。

こうして〈消えゆくパフォーマンス作品〉と〈歴史を持つ建築物〉という対照的な時間軸を、同質の儚さに織り込むことを可能にする構造を持つ作品となった。

‘’Heights Takayama’’ Theater performance ＋ Work Shop (2019) at blanClass

 

She attempted ‘’Theaterlize of building’’. blanClass is experimental space for art where was used as a private school for contemporary art called ‘B- zemi’.

She supposed that this building was fictional ruins apartment and atelier ‘’ Heights Takayama’. Then she overlap with memory which underlying in building.

She made various devices …book written story of building,the past photos are printed on the clear file suspended inside and outside building,the sound that is barely audible such like telling story from somewhere,the recallable film that cat which had lived old dark room ,audiences go into ‘ history of building ‘ was reduplicated.

Under the spin lighting she is attempted to do her performance and various work shop with audience 『 experimental work shop that used to be in here 』

Also she repeat to shoot and project it.Thus this work had structure that is able to weave into the homogeneous fragility which contrasting time base that〈To be vanishing performance work 〉and 〈 The building which has histories 〉.
